Virtual Training Studio
The Virtual Training Studio (VTS) is a freely available drag-and-drop tool to create low-bandwidth interactive learning materials compatible with both web and local viewing. It has been developed by Gabriel Westman and Erik Bergman as a part of the Global NutrITion programme (http://www.globnut.net) in Uppsala, Sweden, and has been funded by Sida.
By setting a new, open and freely available standard for creating computerised interactive teaching material, VTS also allows the interface to be platform- and storage-media independent. This means that teaching material can be viewed both directly over the Internet as well as from CDs, hard drives or local area networks.
